Das neue Graduiertenkolleg (GRK) 2861 der TU Dresden und der FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg verbindet Innovation und Interdisziplinarität in Forschung und Ausbildung auf dem Gebiet der Planaren Kohlenstoffgitter. Es ist eines von bundesweit elf Graduiertenkollegs, die aktuell von der DFG für die nächsten fünf Jahre bewilligt wurden. Sprecher ist Thomas Heine, Professor für Theoretische Chemie an der TU Dresden, stellvertretende Sprecherin ist Janina Maultzsch, Lehrstuhl für Experimentalphysik der FAU.
